Description
The idea for this blanket scarf was borne from long days working at home and the desire to keep warm and cosy while sitting at my desk.
The pattern is worked up using a simple combination of knit and purl stitches alongside slip stitches and increases and decreases to create the striking triangular shape in the textured pattern.
Worked in chunky yarn, this simple blanket scarf knits up fairly quickly, and makes for a meditative, repetitive knit that doesn’t require too much concentration once you’ve grasped the pattern.
A perfect knitting pattern for beginner knitters to develop their skills in increasing and decreasing.
Drape over your shoulders for a warming layer while working indoors, or wrap all the way around when heading out for a walk to keep the cold at bay and stay cosy all day long.
On purchase you will be able to download a PDF of the pattern. Please make sure you save this somewhere you can find it, and don’t forget to check your spam folder if your email doesn’t come through soon after purchase.
To knit this pattern you’ll need:
864 m / 942 y chunky yarn of your choice
1 x 6mm, 40-60cm circular knitting needle
Tapestry needle
We make the designs, and we want you to make them your own.
