Sometimes you just want to show a little bit a love, and what better way than a delightful handmade knitted heart! During a time when we could all use a bit more positivity, anything that brings a smile to the face of a loved one is an absolute winner in my book. In this blog post, I’m going to tell you how to knit this heart, which you can gift to your nearest and dearest, or use to bring a bit of joy to your own home.
What you’ll need
- A reasonable amount of yarn
You can use absolutely any yarn to knit this heart but the chunkier your yarn is, the bigger your heart will turn out. I knit mine in super chunky yarn and I used about 35 grams - 1 pair of straight knitting needles
The size of knitting needles that you’ll need will depend on the weight of your yarn – check out my knitting needle size guide if you need some help - Scissors
- Tapestry needle
